EXTENDED: Kay Taylor's "Sheridan Avenue Tails".

Well folks, we've had such a positive response to Kay's show that I have asked Kay whether we can extend the show through the end of June! It's been so much fun to have these guys at the gallery, I am excited that I get to host them for another month.

If you have not had the chance to pop by and see the show, Atelier ONE is open Tuesdays - Saturdays. Kay has provided us with plenty of her popular note cards too!

See you soon and thanks for all of your wonderful comments and compliments on the show!

Beate

PS: Kay's been having a blast shooting away at Titus: check out his latest photos on his Facebook page!

Sheridan Avenue Tales (Tails!) - now showing.

Join us for photographer Kay Taylor's first exhibit of canine photographs!

Opening reception
Saturday, April 6th  5:30 - 8 p.m.

Join us for a glass of wine and fantastic desserts -- and to meet Kay!

(Thanks to our special friends at Ellie Cooks and Stubblefield Photo Lab, who in part made this show possible!)

Kay has been long known for years for her keen eye and wonderful connection with her furry friends. She is a photographer at the University of Virginia who has been busy photographing her own canine friends, a group of five doxies known as the "Boys of Sheridan Avenue" as well as friends' dogs. She has made her friends and colleagues smile for years with her blog and special-occasion facebook posts of canine photographs, and we are thrilled to be able to share her work with you now at Atelier One!
Her work is featured on Hallmark cards and several national blogs, as well as in magazines.

Don't miss this show, it will make you smile!

See you all soon!  Beate

Second opening for Rachel Bush's "Fall into Grace"
March 1, 2013. 5 - 7 p.m.

Thanks to Rachel, whose artwork has been so well-received
and has made the new gallery look so great!

Rachel is a Horticulturalist, Master Gardener -- and passionate local artist.
You can find out more about Rachel here.

Rachel's intricate botanical drawings will be on display until the end of the month.
She also has prints of her pieces available.

Thanks also to Doug Bush for some really great live music.
The atmosphere was perfect!

And thanks of course to Rachel's husband, Dr. Zach Bush, who was a wonderful
and very attentive bartender for the evening!

The gallery is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.

See you at the next opening on Saturday, April 6th.

Kay Taylor will be showing her photographs of canines.
She's won several contests and her Dachshund photos have been featured on Hallmark cards and several blogs. We look forward to Kay's first showing of her work: you  will absolutely love the show, don't miss it! We'll post updates on Facebook about the opening and her work.

See you soon, cheers! Beate
